Lab Overview

A return to form for Chicago soul crooner Renaldo Domino. A veteran of the fertile 60's Chicago soul scene, Domino would release gems on Mercury subsidiaries Smash and Blue Rock, and eventually the legendary Twinight label. Fast forward over 4 decades later, and Renaldo Domino is back with some of his strongest material to date. Teaming up with producer Jeremy Kay, arranger JB Flatt (Durand Jones & The Indications), and an all-star cast of Brooklyn's finest musicians, Domino lends his early Chicago soul style with the heavyweight sound of NYC's contemporary soul scene. The proof is in the sound - "No Laggin' And Draggin" with "Give Up The Love." Recommended. Limited edition gold vinyl, only 900 pressed.
