Basic Fingers is back with more tasteful edits for the discerning dancefloor. The label should look familiar from all those killer Kon edits they've put out, but this time it's French DJ Reverend P who lends a hand (or in this case a finger?) with two sides of soulful and funky edits. Here the good Reverend P reworks a couple not-so-obvious jams from Gil Scott-Heron and MJ with fantastic results. Check the deep, chugging groove of GSH's "Three Miles Down", while Michael Jackson and his bros bring the sunshine in on the re-touched rarity "Polite." So good and so recommended.
