"I recently purchased a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC turntable from you, and I am really impressed with the level of detail and customer service I’ve received so far. The instruction folder is a great touch, and your excellent site gave me tons of info and insight into buying and setting up the turntable. Bravo!" - P. Cuffari
"Wow. I just got the turntable. It is amazing. I love the bags, I love the fact that I got it literally less than 24 hours after ordering, I love the cartoon easy set up pics, the stickers, record cleaner brush, and the sound is great for the money. SOOO Happy!! Thanks guys and gals--you just created a customer for life."- R. Montgomery
"I love the Turntable Lab, great service & great products. There's no other store or site I'd rather buy my gear from. I'll sure keep on purchasing my equipment from TTL."- D. Martinez
"It's always nice to feel like you're appreciated, and you guys have done a great job with that."- R. Abeel
"Turntable lab constantly deliver the best and most current selection of modern music on all formats. It's my first stop for vinyl house and disco music. The reviews are accurate and I can trust the buyers to source quality product. Customer service is second to none and Bret has been nothing short of outstanding in every interaction we've ever had. Proud to be a Labhead." - G. Laurie
"First off I just want to thank you and your team for everything you do! The equipment and products you sell are awesome and exactly what artists like me need. I remember when I first discovered Turntable Lab by searching online for DJ equipment. I was looking all over for different equipment that I needed and when I found TTL I was relieved to find out that you guys basically had everything I was looking for." - C. Arroyo
"My Rane mixer arrived safely yesterday. I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for your speedy response to my initial enquiry and efficient delivery. Great price and great service, I'll definitely be telling my friends about it." - A. McConnell (Marrickville, Australia)

It's impossible to overstate how important this debut LP was when it was originally released in October 1990. Nowhere was the pinnacle of a year in which Ride was already responsible for three of the strongest EPs Creation Records had released to date. Epic opener "Seagull" bares a resemblance to "Eight Miles High" by The Byrds, but shot through with the kind of overloaded guitar madness found on Dinosaur Jr's SST releases or Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine (Loveless didn't exist yet!). If you want to call it shoegaze, that's not wrong, but there's so much more here than mere atmosphere. Ride's sense of melody and strong vocal harmonies should appeal to anyone interested in psychedelic music or alternative rock, and these things set them apart from the glut of bands around at the time. Rather than bury the vocals, or the drums, they somehow achieve an equal balance between clarity and chaos. Though the recording is more raw, and the music more raucous, the lyrics are direct and emotional enough that parallels can even be drawn with emo bands that followed. Closer "Vapour Trail" is simply one of the most beautiful melancholic songs ever recorded. Mixed by Alan Moulder, whose golden touch helped define the sound of UK guitar bands in the early 90s, Nowhere set a high standard that many bands, even Ride themselves, tried to live up to for years to come. Every bit as essential as Loveless or Souvlaki.
