For underground producers, rocking diverse styles can be a tricky proposition, but Dan White (aka Rings Of Saturn) shows you how it's done with style to spare. From ambient techno ("Jupiter C," "I Can See Look Am At We"), Detroit-tinged electro ("Synchrotron"), and IDM ("Peripheral Visionary"), to hazy boogie funk ("F124cc," "Silver Ghost"), there is a timeless quality to these tracks that recall classic Detroit and early Warp vibes. A rare thing to find a record that hits so many notes and does them all so well. Not only that, the packaging is top notch with the custom screenprinted clear vinyl 10" + 7" combo. Recommended.
