Spiritiual jazz grail repressed! Leave it to the good folks at Jazzman to dig up this highly sought-after gem and give it the proper reissue it deserves. Sadaka's Premonition is a modern masterpiece of spiritual jazz, originally released in 1981 on the tiny Creatic label. The pieces are all composed and arranged by musical genius Umlah Sadau Holt, a Bay Area player involved in many different projects ranging from jazz, reggae, and world music. Premonition is his first and only recording released on his own private label , which, despite great response from jazz aficionados, suffered from very poor sales. This has made original copies scarce (and expensive!), which makes this Jazzman repress all the more welcome. Seven tracks with top quality pic sleeve reproduction. Another stunning entry in Jazzman's Holy Grail series.
