He's had a hand in the music of artists like Madge (in addition to numerous remixes for her, he produced "Vogue"), Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Depeche Mode, Level 42, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Erasure, and many more. Before all that, though, he produced remixes for the foundational disco label, Salsoul. Mastermixes is the first time that they all have been collected in one place. And pretty much everything here is essential: Loleatta Holloway's "Love Sensation," Leroy Burgess' "Heartbreaker" and First Choice's "Let No Man Put Asunder," I mean.
