Some real music nerdery here mixing up Aphex Twin and Autechre with afrobeat, but it also takes a real music nerdus to pull it off properly... Highly interesting stuff that isn't just a gimmick, but some true music explorations. Highly recommended.

Shoes, one of the most creative editors around, revisits his afro-electro idea (remember "Afro-Perculator"), but this time, utilizes classic 90s IDM as the afro-foil. Some real music nerdery here mixing up Aphex Twin and Autechre with afrobeat, but it also takes a real music nerdus to pull it off properly... Highly interesting stuff that isn't just a gimmick, but some true music explorations. Highly recommended.
