Debut release from Parisian producer Shonky on LA's Culprit imprint. We first heard from him on the KorgM1 release for a Spectral, an expert jaunt into the 90's retro-house style, but on "Oasis" it seems Shonky has expanded into warm and soulful house territories in line with recent Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels stuff. Not mad at it at all, infact the track seems to be blowing up all-over, from LA to Ibiza, even getting plays from our own Nakinboots! London's Jozif provides the remix here, affixing a balearic vibe to the groove and adding nice piano and guitar elements to the mix. Also includes the Shonky originals "La Bestia" and "Kwality." Don't sleep!
