Seventh studio album from Chicago's Silkworm. Lifestyle was originally released in 2000 and is considered by many to be one of the band's greatest moments. Although it is hard to find fault with most of Silkworm's catalog, something about this album makes it stand out from the rest. Perhaps it's the band's consistency and endurance, the fact that they could make it this far into their career without falling apart. Each member brings something unique to the fold and the songs on the album serve to highlight their contributions. Both guitarist Andy Cohen and bassist Tim Midgett deliver lyrics that are on par with their best material. Even drummer Michael Dahlquist makes a vocal appearance. Includes the songs: "Contempt," "Around The Outline," and "Yr Web." Twelve tracks in all. Released by Touch And Go on limited edition pink vinyl.
