  • Modern R&B greatness. Fresh Selects has made it their goal in life to release the raddest progressive Hip Hop and R&B in the world. No that's not a new genre (dear god please don't catch on) but one visit to their site or one listen to any of their releases and you will know what I'm talking about. SiR's Seven Sundays is filled with blunted head nodding beats and swaggy crooning with a grip of guests from producers to fellow grey area emcee / singers. Knxwledge, Tiffany Gouche, DK The Punisher, J.LBS, modern Jazz sensation Chris Dave, and a few others take up the backbone on the album with impeccable production. One of our favorites, Anderson.Paak sort of steals the show (as he tends to do) on 'Liberation'. Fat Ron and D Smoke also contribute to SiR's Drake meets Frank Ocean meets Miguel approach. Definitely a welcome album for the feeling seductive in a Hype Williams lighting type of mood.
