Skinny Puppy's first studio album repressed! Originally released in 1985, Bites is the Canadian industrial pioneers' debut full length, following two early EP's (Back & Forth and Remission). The album finds Nivek Ogre, cEvin Key, and producer Dave Oglivie in an embryonic state, experimenting with dark synth pop moods, spooky keyboard work, and atmospheric effects that would further evolve deeper into their trademark sound on later releases. Includes the tracks "Assimilate," "Dead Lines," "The Choke," "Film," and more. Full pic sleeve reproduction featuring artwork by Steven R. Gilmore.
