Debut studio album from Reading's Slowdive. Just For A Day was originally recorded in 1991 and shows signs of what the band was to become. Although it does not quite have the expansive sound of Souvlaki or the vivid experimentation of Pygmalion, you can hear the seeds of those albums being sown. There are waves of effected guitars, layers of light vocals floating around the mix, and perfectly saccharine dream pop songs. Both "Celia's Dream" and "Erik's Song" hint at what would happen on the band's future releases. Nine tracks in all. Released by Music On Vinyl on 180 gram vinyl.
