Lab Overview

Soul Clap brings a mixed bag of styles on this entry for W+L Black Edits (number 4 if you keepin' count). The Boston duo kick off the set with a tasteful re-work of the Isley Brothers' "Living For The Love Of You," with a soft house bump. Definitely one to drop when you want to add a dose of real soul to the mix. Up next, things get downright FONKY with a refix of George Clinton's 80's electro-funk jammer "Do Fries Go With That Shake" cleverly renamed "Shake Those Fries." This one is easily the livest of the bunch, but you also get the weirdo house vibes of "Twist" and the spooky closer "Ghosts," complete with vocals sampled from a David Lynch film.
