Starvue's "Body Fusion" has appeared on a few soul compilations in the past, but this is the first time we've had it on 12", and with convincing label reproductions to boot. The track has been highly sought-after since it's 1980 release on Midwest International thanks to its supremely sexy and sensuous soul steppin' groove produced by The Chi-lites' Clarence Johnson. Top it all off with stunning and emotive vocals and you have a pure soul masterpiece that withstands the test of time. Includes short version and long version on the flip. Recommended.
