Hard to find compilation from Jamaica's Studio One. Money Maker was originally released in 1970 and has since become one of the harder to find releases in Studio One's extensive catalog. It's primarily made of up instrumentals from Cedric Brooks and Jackie Mittoo with the exception being Lloyd Williams' soulful vocals over the "Back Out Wid It" rhythm. The other featured rhythms featured include groups like the Heptones, Burning Spear, The Wailing Souls and John Holt. An excellent collection of reggae instrumentals. Ten tracks in all. Released by Studio One on black vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with liner notes from Chris Wilson and an obi strip.
