We first heard from the White Material duo's collaborative side project on 2016's Scenes, but here we are treated to 4 fresh tracks that mark a solid return to the dancefloor. "Eventide" kicks things off with deep undulating pads that float over a heavy percolating rhythm. The combination will easily put you in a trance, whether you are losing it on the dancefloor or grooving out in your headphones. For an extra ethereal experience, check out the beatless mix that puts the focus on the synths and transforms the track into an ambient stunner. On the flip, "Ascension" turns the beat up once again, sounding like the soundtrack to an epic night drive through a futuristic metropolis - strictly beats version also included. Recommended.
