Are you ready to get out there? Outer Spaceways Incorporated captures Sun Ra's Arkestra when it was at its most radical. Some seriously outside of the lines playing alternates with simple chants and dense ensemble pieces. No one is quite sure when these five takes were recorded, but they are thought to have been documented circa 1967-1968 by Sun Ra (piano) and his Arkestra in New York City, where the band was in residence at the time. The recordings were originally released as Pictures Of Infinity and have since been reissued and renamed. Audiophile grade pressing on black vinyl.
