A modest success at the time, this album has proved a massive influence on the Vaporwave community. Downtempo bleeps and bloops drift between a chill haze and laser focus, drums curdled with digital distortion among woozy funk. This record separates itself from its copyright flaunting brethren with its original vocals and traditional song structure, sounding more in line with Ariel Pink or Washed Out than Macintosh Plus. This vinyl reissue comes courtesy of 100% Electronica, the net label founded by George Clanton, and is a Turntable Lab exclusive. One time pressing of 400 copies on seafoam splash colored vinyl (purported to be the last-ever vinyl pressing), highly recommended!
