Written by Ashford & Simpson, Sylvester's "Over & Over" is a certified disco anthem people have been losing it to for decades. For the second release of his Kontemporary label, Kon takes on the challenge of improving on perfection, and he succeeds. First up is Kon's found A Friend Remix, and the veteran DJ/digger/producer deftly restructures the tune for maximum dancefloor impact. On the flip, Kon turns in a subtle-but-deadly "Dub mix," working in just the right amount of vocals and leaving a lot of space for what else, DANCING. A must pick-up for DJs, both versions have been crafted from OG master tapes.
