Remastered and newly remixed deluxe edition of the Beatles' self-titled LP. The Beatles, commonly referred to as the "white album", was released in 1968 between Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road. The band was at the peak of their popularity and influence at the time, but were dealing with creative differences brewing internally which lead to a much more diverse and eclectic album (at one point Ringo quit and Paul played drums on a couple tracks). None the less, the white album is still one of their greatest efforts, a double LP worth of classic material clocking in over 90 minutes in length with 30 tracks in all. Includes timeless classics like "Blackbird," "Dear Prudence," "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "Happiness Is A Warm Gun," "Don't Pass Me By," "Helter Skelter," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and many more. Newly remixed by Giles Martin from the original analog tapes on the first two LPs, rare Esher demos on the last two LPs; includes 4 full color portraits, gatefold jackets and deluxe outer box.
