Stage two in the Caretaker's downward spiral into dementia. A bit of backstory incase you missed the inaugural installment of the Everywhere At The End Of Time saga. Here Leyland Kirby is putting the Caretaker alias to rest after an epic six album run that documents the project's fictional descent into madness. Kirby is a master at creating atmosphere, and with his Caretaker alias, he weaves dreamlike states via dusty Jazz Age 78's. The second stage takes things deeper into the abyss. From Caretaker: "The second stage is the self realisation and awareness that something is wrong with a refusal to accept that. More effort is made to remember so memories can be more long form with a little more deterioration in quality. The overall personal mood is generally lower than the first stage and at a point before confusion starts setting in." Let the feeling take you under. Ten tracks total on black vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with artwork by Ivan Seal. Recommended.
