  • Something Else was the last Cranberries album released before Dolores O’Riordan’s untimely passing earlier this year. It follows 2012’s Roses, their last full LP of brand new material, with a slew of their best tracks performed unplugged with a string quartet at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Something Else gets right down to business leading off with an acoustic version of “Linger,” which nearly manages to top the tearjerker original version. They run through a bevy of hits, including “Zombie,” “Dreams,” “Ode To My Family,” “Free To Decide” and more, sliding three new tunes in the mix: “The Glory,” “Rupture” and “Why.” Fans will note the band are seated in the same exact arrangement as they were on No Need To Argue, except 23 years have passed and the guy on the left no longer looks like David Duchovny. Limited edition green double vinyl pressing.

    • limited edition green colored vinyl pressing
