Second full-length from Scottish melodic folk-rock duo The Proclaimers. Craig and Charlie Reid released Sunshine On Leith in 1988, and the album includes "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)," perhaps their biggest hit that appeared on the 1993 film Benny & Joon. The rest of the 12-tracker follows suit w/ jangly, energetic pop numbers, and the twins' charming accent adds even more appeal. In addition to the aforementioned tune, also check out "Then I Met You," My Old Friend The Blues" (cover of Steve Earle), "I'm On My Way," "Oh Jean," and "Clap In Hand."
