The song, with its allusions to sexual frustration and anti-commercialism, took the Stones to the top of the charts in the US for the first time. The decidedly anti-establishment message provoked some controversy but probably won Mick Jagger and co a lot of new fans. In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of its chart topping success "Satisfaction" is packaged here with both its accompanying US and UK b sides.
