Lab Overview

The Rolling Stones go psychedelic. If you couldn't tell by that trippy cover, Their Satanic Majesties Request is the Stones' attempt at experimenting with a more psychedelic sound akin to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's. Here Mick Jagger & Co.  incorporate a wide range of instruments, effects, and rhythms way outside their norm. It was originally released in 1967 as the band's 8th (6th in the UK) full length effort. This is the official 2018 reissue from ABKCO, on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, complete with lenticular gatefold sleeve.
