  • Legendary live recording of The Velvet Underground at Lou Reed's favorite venue to perform. This 1968 session at the Boston Tea Party was recorded shortly after the departure of John Cale and the addition of Doug Yule, and a particularly taxing year of touring and transition. Surprisingly, the band manages an incredible show filled with reworked classics from their catalog, tunes from their then-forthcoming third album, and two unreleased songs unavailable anywhere else. Remastered edition on double 180 gram vinyl with background notes and photos included on the insert. 12 tracks in all.

    • 2015 repress on double 180 gram vinyl
    • remastered sound
    • live recording from 1968
    • includes background notes & photographs
