It's Album Time! The much anticipated full length from Norway's resident disco genius is finally here and quite frankly, it's the sh*t. If you've been following Todd Terje's (pronounced ter-YEAH) rise to fame - from his DJ beginnings, to sought-after disco edits and ultimately anthemic original productions - then you already know that a proper full length was a long-time coming. On It's Album Time, Terje flexes his mastery over cosmic disco and italo with a bit of jazz and latin flavor thrown in for good measure. Check the sounds on "Preben Goes To Acapulco," "Svensk Svas," "Delorean Dynamite," "Oh Joy," and the previously released "Swing Star," and "Inspector Norse." Impressive stuff to say the least, but after after years of crafting essential party jams (starting with Eurodans and more recently Inspector Norse), what did you expect? This thing is basically good vibes and party fun on wax. Recommended, obvs.
