Lab Overview

Volume 4 of the Loft Classics series focuses on some of the deeper soul funk cuts to be played at the legendary NYC party. Three especially heavy tracks from artists you all have heard of, but maybe have slept-on recently and are definitely ripe for a revisit. Feel the intense and powerful vibe from Gil Scott-Heron's "Home Is Where The Hatred Is," War's "The Chase (Flying Machine)," and Earth, Wind & Fire's "Power". Strong selections as usual from the LC series. A side on 45, B side a 33.
