Lab Overview

Produced by the one and only Steve Albini, God Luck And Good Speed is the third studio album from Wilmington, N.C.'s Weedeater. The trio lead by Dave "Dixie" Collins charges ahead with heavy distortion and all the noise/fuzz associated with it, and within the sludge / stoner doom lies strong melodies, raw moods, and pure sonic terror that flawlessly flows from one track to the next. Essential long player for metal fans, especially if you dig Down, High On Fire, and Electric Wizard. Check out album standouts "Wizard Fight," "Gimme Back My Bullets" (Lynyrd Skynard cover), "$20 Peanut," and the devastating title track. This 2023 pressing comes on army green colored vinyl, complete with 8-page "hymnal" booklet. Limited to 650 copies worldwide.
