Second William Onyeabor boxset from David Byrne's Luaka Bop label! This boxset follows the impressive Vol. 1 and follows suit with four late 70's / early 80's albums from the elusive Nigerian synth-funk pioneer. These joints are literally impossible to find in original form as they were self-released between 1977 and 1983 in Africa. Thankfully Luaka Bop has pulled all the stops, giving these gems a fresh remaster and their first official repress . Includes Crashes In Love (second version) from '77, Body And Soul from '80, Hypertension from '82, and Good Name from '83. Also includes a separate 7" with a Peaking Lights version of "Body And Soul," 16 page booklet, and free download card. Limited edition of 3000.
