Deadstock Find. Came up on a handful of Zero 7's 2002 single for "Distractions," complete with remixes from Bugz In The Attic, Madlib, and DJ Spinna! This one harks back to the days when 12"s used to come stacked with top quality remixes and absolutely no filler. The original version of "Distractions" is a sparse and moody downtempo affair, lending itself well to diverse interpretations. BITA are up first and give the track a broken beat facelift, taking it from the headphones straight to the dancefloor. Up next, Madlib goes under the Yesterday's New Quintet alias to do the jazz thing, while DJ Spinna gives a proper boom-bap for the steady head nod. Comes in full pic sleeve.
