DJ K is back! After killing it with reworks of Gil Scott-Heron and Bob Marley, the mysterious Japanese DJ/producer returns with another dose of soulful, jazzy dancefloor heat. This time around DJ K sets his sights on a live recording of Archie Shepp's classic "Attica Blues," proceeding to lace it up with stomping breaks for massive effect on the dancefloor (rumor has it this has been Theo's secret weapon lately). Worth it for this one alone, but check the flip for the grooving disco boogie vibes of Jeffrey Osbourne's "Don't You Get So Mad" and the uplifting roller skating jam "I Want To Know You" by Philip Bailey. Recommended.
