Lab Overview

I wish you would, I wish you could. Marian Hill are back with their sophomore effort, just two years after the their 2016 debut, Act One. Unusual finds singer Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd expanding the scope of their infectious brand of electro alt-pop with a diverse set of moods and grooves. The ten track album is full of feels, from the Sylvan Esso-esque "Sideways" or "Go Quietly," the sexy and magical "All Night Long," the mesmerizing "Subtle Thing," or the sax-y "Listening." No signs of a sophomore slump for these two! 2018 pressing on Republic, complete with pic sleeve.
