Lab Overview

Quentin Tarantino is likely the most imitated director of his generation, but his record collection has proved nearly as influential. “One of the things I do when I am starting a movie, when I’m writing a movie or when I have an idea for a film is, I go through my record collection and just start playing songs, trying to find the personality of the movie, find the spirit of the movie.” This compilation follows the first Tarantino Experience, collecting additional music appearing in and inspired by his films including Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Death Proof. Featured artists include Johnny Cash, T. Rex, The Ventures, John Lee Hooker, The Surf Coronados, Fendermen, and more. This version is pressed on one red and one yellow LP with a full color gatefold jacket.
