More twisted house goodness from San Francisco's Roche. Deep and mellow is the driving sound behind the Sity To Sky EP. Coming to you on the newly minted Los Angeles based Hobo Camp, there is a heavy West Coast vibe throughout the release. Roche delivers lush pads and solid analog bass with tribal inflected percussion on the three original tracks. Label head Hotthobo's Relish edit of the title track serve up more of that sound along side some super funky synth work. It all builds to the closing cut which finds Roche revisiting the title tracks from his recent Mathematics release. Ash Williams drops some smooth sax work that Roche blends excellently with his sublime acid lines. Another quality release from this inventive producer. Recommended.
