Town biz. Money green colored vinyl reissue of Too Short's major label debut from '87, courtesy of Get On Down. Through classic albums like Born To Mack and 1988's Life Is Too Short, the Oaktown player has taught rappers how to pimp and mack, among other things (like the proper way to say "beee-itch"). Can't front on those funky ass old school beats (with synths played by $hort Dogg himself!) and that signature straight forward delivery, especially on classic slappers like "Freaky Tales" and "Dope Fiend Beat." Also peep the funk on "You Know What I Mean," "Little Girls," and "Playboy Short II." O.G. Bay Area material! Recommended.
- 35th anniversary edition
- green colored vinyl
- limited edition
- original release year: 1987
- music label: Get On Down 2023
