Debut album from Swedish synth poppers. Little Dragon has since become worldwide indie sensations with their unique brand of synth heavy indie pop / rock that sort of has no proper genre name. The best way to describe the band is effing awesome, with a capital EFF. Their debut is made up of some of their most adventurous work. Adventurous meaning they did whatever the hell they wanted to do. Not that they've stopped doing this but now they have to be Little Dragon and do a fine job being Little Dragon. The band's jazz & R&B influences are also VERY present on this album with more head nodding going on than bedroom dance party freak outs, but don't view that as a negative. There always has to be a warm up and come down from the party. Stoked to see this back on vinyl as it, as most of their albums, have been long out of print.
