The Little Fwend adds convenience to your manual turntable by automatically lifting the tonearm at the end of the record. This device ensures you will never experience the sound of your needle scraping at the end of a record... or worse, on the label! It is similar in function to the utilitarian Q Up, but constructed of premium materials for safe and smooth operation, with a sleek design that compliments high end audiophile turntables. The Little Fwend sits between your tonearm and platter and once the tonearm hits the high carbon steel Roslau piano wire, the neoprene rubber beam lifts it up. Smooth, simple and effective. Installed in minutes (with included mini wrench tool to find proper height) and is designed to fit most manual turntables with a tonearm clearance up to 49mm + cartridges set up to 5 grams VTFs.
COMPATIBILITY
- your turntable must have a pivot type tonearm (any turntable where you can lift and pivot the tonearm to a specific point on the platter) and NOT linear tracking
- the height between the turntable surface and the tonearm when playing a record must be between 32mm - 49mm / 1 & 1/4″ - 1 & 15/16″
- the width between the outer edge of the turntable platter and the arm base must be at least 28mm / 1 & 1/8″
- note: not compatible with Audio-Technica AT-LP120, AT-LP120x, AT-LP140, AT-LP1240, Pioneer PLX series or any other DJ turntables.
- for Technics 1200/1210 turntables, use the Little Fwend Disco Model.
- for all other turntables, please measure the vertical space between your turntable base and tonearm to determine compatibility.
